The Fire We’re Praying For
We are believing for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit like the great revivals of old. In 1741, Jonathan Edwards preached “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God,” and the power of the Word caused entire communities to tremble and turn to Christ in repentance. In 1904, Evan Roberts’ Welsh Revival saw 100,000 souls saved in just six months. Crime plummeted, taverns closed, and spontaneous singing and open prayer filled the land. We are praying for that same fire to fall again — right here in Crawford and Perry Counties. The Lord may lead us through multiple revivals at different times and locations as He plants Isaiah 53:5 Church. We are actively seeking a suitable venue in the local area and the supplies needed to host these gatherings. We trust the Lord’s perfect provision and timing. We believe that if God’s people will humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from wicked ways, He will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Come expecting miracles, salvation, and a mighty move of the Spirit!
