Sunset over a rural landscape with a church and trees

Our Story

We are a new church plant in the heart of Crawford and Perry Counties, southern Indiana.

God has called us here to be a place where real people meet a real Savior.

We are not here to play church — we are here to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our rural communities.

From the very beginning, our vision has been simple: love God, love people, and serve our neighbors with the same compassion Jesus showed.

Our Leadership in This Season

The Lord has called and gifted me, Rev. Kenneth Davidson, primarily as an Evangelist for the advancement of His Kingdom. As the Lord plants Isaiah 53:5 Church right here in Crawford and Perry Counties, He is using this gift of evangelism to lay the foundation: reaching the lost, feeding the hungry, clothing the vulnerable, and seeing souls saved through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His calling on their lives. In His perfect timing, God will raise up a Pastor to shepherd and disciple the local flock. At that time, I will continue fulfilling my calling as an Evangelist — along with every disciple raised up from this house — to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the four corners of the earth in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We trust God’s beautiful order for His Church and are excited to walk in it.

Why Isaiah 53:5?‍ ‍

Our name comes straight from Isaiah 53:5 — “by His stripes we are healed.”

We believe Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross brings complete healing — not just spiritual, but emotional and physical too.

That’s why we roll up our sleeves and serve our neighbors in practical ways that show God’s love in action.

Our Beliefs‍ ‍

We believe the Bible is God’s perfect Word — both Old and New Testaments.

We believe salvation is a free gift through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

We believe faith shows up in action — loving God and loving people through practical service.

We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, empowering us to live out the Great Commission with joy and purpose.

We believe every person is welcome here — no perfect people allowed, only real ones seeking real hope in a real Savior.
