Passover - Family Event

Passover at Home: Celebrating Yeshua, the Passover LambPassover (Pesach) is a joyful family festival remembering how God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt through the blood of the lamb. For believers in Yeshua Jesus the Messiah, it is also a beautiful picture of our redemption: “Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthians 5:7).

  • Gather around the table on the first evening of Passover.

  • Read the story of the Exodus (Exodus 12–14) and how Yeshua fulfilled it at the Last Supper.

  • Share the traditional symbols:
    – Matzah (unleavened bread) – Yeshua’s sinless body
    – Bitter herbs – the bitterness of slavery and our sin
    – Charoset (sweet apple mixture) – the sweetness of God’s redemption
    – A roasted shank bone or lamb – pointing to the Lamb of God
    – A cup of wine or grape juice – the new covenant in His blood

  • Sing simple songs of praise, pray together, and enjoy a special meal.

May your home be filled with the light of Messiah as you remember: “The blood of the Lamb covers us!”
Shalom and Happy Passover!
