Passover - Family Event
Passover at Home: Celebrating Yeshua, the Passover LambPassover (Pesach) is a joyful family festival remembering how God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt through the blood of the lamb. For believers in Yeshua Jesus the Messiah, it is also a beautiful picture of our redemption: “Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthians 5:7).
Gather around the table on the first evening of Passover.
Read the story of the Exodus (Exodus 12–14) and how Yeshua fulfilled it at the Last Supper.
Share the traditional symbols:
– Matzah (unleavened bread) – Yeshua’s sinless body
– Bitter herbs – the bitterness of slavery and our sin
– Charoset (sweet apple mixture) – the sweetness of God’s redemption
– A roasted shank bone or lamb – pointing to the Lamb of God
– A cup of wine or grape juice – the new covenant in His bloodSing simple songs of praise, pray together, and enjoy a special meal.
May your home be filled with the light of Messiah as you remember: “The blood of the Lamb covers us!”
Shalom and Happy Passover!
